No Longer Afraid

Take to heart these wonderful words of Jesus Christ.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Trust in God. Trust also in me” (John 14:1).

“Do not be anxious about your life” (Matthew 6:25).

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul” (Matthew 10:28).

“Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid” (Mark 6:50).

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more” (Luke 12:4).

“Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer… Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown” (Revelation 2:10).

“Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last” (Revelation 1:17).

Jesus would say to you, “GIVE YOURSELF TO ME AND DO NOT BE AFRAID.”

Hurt comes to everyone. If you join yourself to Jesus Christ though, you will not experience HARM. Hurt brings suffering. Harm brings destruction.

Even if the worst should happen, you are still safe in God. Harm will not come your way. You will pass from this life held by God.

Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (John 14:27).

To put the full weight of your CONFIDENCE in him?

To TRUST him with your past, your present, and your future?

To REST in his authority and power and willingness to save you?

If so, this prayer may help you give yourself to Jesus.

“Lord Jesus Christ, I need you. I believe you died on the cross and rose again from the dead FOR ME. I believe you are reigning right now over this universe.

Have mercy on me, Lord, and please forgive me my many sins. I trust you are able to save me from my sins and to bring me to heaven when I die. So I thank you right now that you forgive me.

For your sake, Lord Jesus, I also choose to forgive anyone who has ever sinned against me.

Lord Jesus, I believe you are able to straighten out my life. I believe you have conquered sin, and death, and satan. I entrust myself to YOU, Lord Jesus.

Please come into my life, Lord Jesus. Take your authority and rule over me. Do whatever you would like with my life. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, with your mighty power, with the flow of your undying love, and with your peace.

I receive you RIGHT NOW, Lord Jesus.

Lord Jesus, you know what I am facing in my life right now. YOU KKNOW I cannot handle it myself. So I give it to YOU to handle. I trust YOU with my burdens and I will take whatever steps you lead me to take.

Thank you for coming into my life, Lord Jesus. Teach me how to live with your Spirit living inside of me. In your mighty name, I pray. AMEN!”
